[REQUEST] Kindly ask for SLIC 2.1 for Gigabyte GA-H81M-H rev 1.1 motherboard
#1
-Model : Gigabyte GA-H81M-H motherboard revision 1.1
-Bios version : F8
-Bios type : AMI UEFI
-Bios SLIC required : 2.1

BIOS can be found here :

http://download.gigabyte.ru/bios/mb_bios...m-h_f8.zip

Gigabyte 2.1 SLIC would be ideal but any other would also be OK.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration !

Attachment contains RWEverything ACPI tables dump in ZIP format.

I will gladly leave feedback once I test the file.

Many thanks for trying to help !

The results.rar file is located here : https://www.sendspace.com/file/zttjmw

It seems there were some problems with FPTw.exe program.

Code:
Error 201: [FPTw.exe] cannot be run on the current platform.
Please contact your vendor.

Maybe because I am running on 64 bit OS but program detected 32 bit OS wrongly ?

I can try to install 32 bit OS if that would help.

Or I should use the 64 bit version of Intel Flash Programming Tool which I found online ?

A very similar ( Gigabyte GA-H81M-S1 - looks 99.9% same as mine but without HDMI port ) motherboard was modded with this procedure ( maybe it might be helpful for you ) :

Quote:Modded with phoenixtool219
Method: MODULE (tick advanced - untick
- only alter RSDT and XSDT tables
- only alter tables in main ACPI module)

Will this method be persistent / permanent even after BIOS update ?

Let me know what you think.

What is the problem with that tool exactly ? Why is it not working ?

Can I do this myself without much risk ?

Thanks for your information !

Yes !!!

Modded with phoenixtool219
Method: MODULE (tick advanced - untick

- only alter tables in main ACPI module)

Will this method be persistent / permanent even after BIOS update ?
Yes Bios Slic willbe wrote into NVRAM so even to new update will not erase It !
Only erasing CMOS can delete It !

It's simply and quickly !

So try It and let me know (there isn't any risk to damnage MoBo) if cannot activate
your Slic the We will try using MMTool !
