Hello BDMaster, how are you? I am looking to install a wifi card on my lenovo g50-80, however, I am receiving the information "Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in. Power off and remove it", in my internet searches I found out that lenovo has a whitelist, which prevents any card to be installed in the notebook. Would you know how I can solve this?

Hello!
Tried to change wireless card in my Lenovo G50-80 and get stuck with the same message about "not authorized wireless network card..."

I would like to modify bios to remove the white list.
Current version of bios on my computer is b0cna0ww.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could share the solution or help me fixing it.
I read the BIOS dump from 25B64BSIG with SPI-programmer.  Angel

Hi. I have a notebook Lenovo G50-80 with a slow wireless adapter card installed.

I bought a WiFi 6 adapter, same M.2 form factor, and I did not know Lenovo have whitelist.
Here is the message that appears when I turn on my notebook:
"Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in. Power off and remove it"

I would like to install the new BIOS in order to use the faster WiFi 6 adapter. Could you help, please?

Here is the saved BIOS file:

My notebook specs:
G50-80 Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 80R0
Serial Number: PE01VQ9T
Machine Type Model: 80R00009BR

The new card specs:
Intel AX200.NGWG.NV WI-FI 6 AX200 M.2 2230 Network Card
