[REQUEST] Lenovo G505 (82CNxxWW) Whitelist Removal

Hello!

Can anybody help with BIOS recovery. I bought notebook lenovo g505 with insyde BIOS version 3.0 82cn27ww. But I foolishly install version 2.04 from lenovo official site. After that graphic card stops working.

I load dump from this branch, but couldn't install.

AndyTool gave me name : VAWGAX64.f?

I formated usb flash (FAT16) and copied dump with name VAWGAX64.fd

After power on and fn+b, back screen showed, I waited around 20 minuts, but notebook not shut off and bios not upgraded.

Please tell me what am I doing wrong?

Hi friend,
your Bios is not moddable !
It's an AMD CPU with Insyde Bios . . . only SPI Programmer can rewrite Bios Mod !

How did you extract fd file?
Latest bios version is 2.04

File WinVAWGA204.ROM contains firmware, but it's not a firmware itself.
There are some explanations.
