You'd probably spend $30-35 on the low end, you need a SPI programmer, and a SOIC test clip (Not 100% on the pin configuration, but I THINK it's SOIC). I'm thinking about buying one, but I'm not excited to have to tear apart my laptop, since I'm not sure where the SOIC is located.

I have a Lenovo G510 i7-4700MQ 8GB RAM, 1TB laptop. Its existing Wifi card (Broadcom 802.11n Network adapter) is very slow and doesn't support 5GHz band. I want replace this card with "Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11ac 2x2 + Bluetooth 4.0". As per my understanding while searching on Internet, my laptop will not support the new card due to Wifi cards' whitelist.

Can someone help me to solve this issue. I want to add the name of the new Wifi card in the whitelist and unlock the advanced options menu. I am attaching the download link of the Bios Information file of my laptop.

Thanks in advance.

I will appreciate if someone at least respond to my request. I know there are so many BIOS Gurus on this forum, but no one is responding.

Many Thanks in advance!
