Hi everyone,
I want to share my big thanks to Dudu for his amazing and super fast help!
The modified BIOS works absolutely flawlessly on my Lenovo G580. The installation process via DOS / FreeDOS was smooth and without any issues.
The advanced setup menu is now fully unlocked and, most importantly, the Wi-Fi whitelist restriction is completely gone. I have successfully installed a new Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 card – it was recognized immediately, Wi-Fi is running perfectly on the 5GHz band, and Bluetooth is fully functional as well.
