I received the same error when using the bios update "BIOS not support AT -p information!". I took a couple of snapshots of the error using Hiren under XP and Win 7. x32.
I toggled the UEFI "Bios Back" feature between Enabled/Disabled, but it didn't seem to change anything.

Your reply doesn't make any sense. I guess you failed to look at any of the reports you asked me to run and upload.
The best I can figure is that your bios hacks WILL NOT WORK if you have an AMD processor.

There are no bios downloads from the manufacturer for this UEFI bios and never have there been any.

kind regards ...

i too have a G585 and was looking to swap out the WLAN card. i have a few just laying around and of course they aren't "compatible" are you removing the whitelist completely or adding the Hardware IDs and Vendor ID for the specific device? i tried to figure out how to modify the Insydeh20 BIOS myself but I got stressed out and gave up multiple times. the link above is dead. According to Lenovo all G585s are running the same BIOS and the website does not have a download available. i have my BIOS dump via the universal tool also. this is the hardware i want to use PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0034&SUBSYS_662111AD&REV_01
