The notebook works but the screen it's black. there is someone to help me and give me the steps to enable, keep in mind I don't see nothing in the screen, something like this:

1. press recovery buton.
2. press 2 times down arrow key and enter.
3. press 4 times right arrow key.
4. press 3 times down arrow key and enter.
5. and so on.

P.S. You can use the Sleep Bug Flashing from Windows too . . .

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

Hi friend,
Sovem has done this one Generalized 71CN51WW(V1.21) - Bios Type (I think your 1.21 is Bios release so 71CN51WW - V1.21)
(for all laptop Z500 - Z400 -P500 - P400) :

WL removed
Menu unlocked
Bios mod: LENOVO_Z500_P500_71CN51WW_NWL_ADV

So It contain Prr.exe tool (Svl7 tool to bypass error 28) and have avoid your issue.
Try It and Let know

I made a bootable disk and was able to apply flash.bat it threw the ERROR 28 code and then flashed a new bios. I launched my bios and it does look different but still lists the same bios id number. I have a lot more options in the bios now but dont see anything listing the actual wifi card. Am i good to install a new card or is there something i should verify before installing the card?

after checking my bios it does look different but i do not see anywhere to edit the wireless card directly

I have an error 28 in my error file
Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access.
Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected Range Registers.

Any ideas?

How do I verify if I can now install the AC7260 wireless card? I ran backup tools and here is my results.rar

I am finally getting around to this sorry!
