[REQUEST] Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 16IRL8 BIOS Unlock
#1
Good day.

Can you help me to unlock Overclocking and CFG section of BIOS to undervoltage?
BIOS version: LACN32WW
Lenovo SN: MP2L5LWW

I can`t backup my bios by Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit (unsupported type) or original insyde flash (there is no [BackupROM] section or something like this at platform.ini)

This is ROM file from extracted lacn32ww.exe original bios update from Lenovo:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xn0UkkU...sp=sharing

P.S. file also attached to post

Hello guys!

Well, I was just wondering if there is a way to mod the bios for this laptop to raise allocated VRAM... See, my mate got this laptop with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM out of which an unknown but definately insufficient amount is allocated to the GPU... My guess is 512MB maybe 1GB. But he is working in AutoCAD a though its only 2D vector work, once he opens more windows with more drawings, the software starts to lag and freeze. And the intel GPU tool shows 99% of use of the given memory. So I hoped maybe raising the GPU allocated amount of RAM could help. But unfortunately the insyde BIOS is so cut and naked, it wont let you manage nothing. So if there is someone, who would be eventually willing to check and see, I can provide you with a bios DUMP or you can get the vanilla file from the Lenovo web of course.

Regards

George

Hackintosh High Sierra in HP 8570p, Intel® Core™ i7-3540M, 8GB@1600MHz, AMD 7650M 1GB, 1600x900, 128GB Apple SSD with SATA adapter, 500GB WD Black HDD.
