Hi BDMaster,

thanks a lot for your reply. Unfortunately I cannot run the tools, cus I am using Linux. But I know that the linked exe-file contains the BIOS I used before (I did an upgrade from this file before I wanted to change the WFi Card) Secondly the Notebook still has the "issued" BIOS installed.

I do not know how to get a bin-file or wph-file from the linked exe. I hope you can help me. Many thanks!!

Ok friend,
Use this tool, prepare an USB Stick DOS Bootable (use RUFUS Tool) then copy all
files from "modified" folder into It and Boot from USB !
Using CLI C:\ interface execute FLASH.BAT file . . .
You will get a file bios.bin into the USB Stick, then upload It here !
Here You go :

Thank you so much for your reply, BDMaster.

As I said, unfortunately my U310 has still the wrong BIOS installed, so I cannot make a .bin-file from it.

But I found the .wph of the right version and uploaded it here for you:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ux2sezo96w0szm...W.wph?dl=0

Please check it and tell me the results. Many thanks again and a nice day!

I have a question, I am essentially in the same place as user "pattuspl"
I have the a lenovo u410 (slightly different model)
I bought the same wireless card (Wireless-AC 7260)

1. Can I use the same file that was supplied to "pattuspl" or do I need to perform the same steps that he did.
2. If I need to perform the steps to get the correct BIOS what exactly should I do?

Bios is not Operative System so You can Boot from USB (using a Stick DOS Prepared You
will Boot to DOS) !
All rest are own issues . . .
I need to use USB Stick and Pure DOS to rewrite back the Bios Mod and I can make You sure that
You can Boot from USB (with or without Linux / Windows / OS2 / SPark / etc. )
So just prepare the USB Stick using RUFUS Tool (Bootable DOS) then go into Bios Setup Menu and
set if present Disable Secure Boot and set USB Legacy Bios USB !
Make a Screenshot of your errors and I will explain how to solve them !

Hi BDMaster,

Here is the dump of the BIOS (I flashed the original 65cn21ww without WL first):

https://www.dropbox.com/s/5qqlsbwil3nmob2/bios.bin?dl=0

Additionally, I found an original 65cn21ww BIOS as a .rom file. I uploaded that here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/frj4wjq0hvz0fq...W.rom?dl=0

You could check both files and deicide which file is better for the remove of WL and for flashing.

I hope I made it right for your needs.

Again, many thanks for your help!!!
