[REQUEST] Lenovo IdeaPad U330, U430 & U530 (7CCNxxWW) Whitelist Removal

Hello everyone

I am a newbie to this forum and BIOS modding in general, but I've been doing a lot of reading on here.

I have the Lenovo U530 Touch and I would like to mod the BIOS. I would like to unlock all the hidden menus (to disable the MSR lock) and remove the WLAN whitelist.

From what I've read so far, I have to:
exract my BIOS in windows
mod it somehow or get someone to mod it
and flash it using a hardware flasher to program the main BIOS chip

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Basically I need to know if these are the steps in a nutshell and whether or not I can flash through software as opposed to hardware.

Some help on modding the BIOS would be great too.

We have to see your Eeprom Status, so use this tool, run It as Administrator and upload here your result file :

I downloaded your tool NEW_BACKUP_FPTs.exe but when I try to run it as administrator I get the error "7-Zip: Unsupported method."

Am I missing something?

Ok friend,
unpack the result file and look pics You'll see error 280 = Eeprom Write Protexct !!!
It's not moddable, only using SPI External USB Programmer.

I was pretty sure I needed the USB Programmer and now you have confirmed that.

My only question is how can I get a modded bios because I don't know how to make one?
