It's so stupid limitation by manufacturer... I tried with the bios editor utility without any good results.

In this bios, what is the complete banned list? It's possible remove all them?

I've flashed that successfully (apparently) but, if i try to connect in ubuntu 16.04lts a usb wifi adapter, blocmaiusc led start blinking... and i can do only a brute poweroff.

Any idea?

UpDate: the issue is generated by a sitecom usb WLA-2103v1001, otherwise a TpLink TL-wn722n works great.
In windows, NO problem, all works fine; in ubuntu now i check log system.
Next step I change internal card.

Hello guys, I have a lenovo u430 laptop and changed the wifi card to a HP Intel Centrino Advanced 6200 AGN ANHMW to get access to 5ghz, I got it from an offer, but I can't use it because of the whitelist, is there a custom BIOS to remove this?
My bios is insydeh20 version 7ccn61ww.

Hi guys,

would anyone be able to help me to get whitelist removed from my BIOS on my Lenovo U430P non-touch? I ve bought a new Intel 7260ac to replace my old 2.4GHZ. All IDs can be found on this photo.

The card in the MB is the old one, the one below is the new one. I tried to put it in and unfortunately it does not pass the whitelist.

I have also exported my current BIOS using Universal BIOS Backup Tool 2.0 if that helps. The export is here.

I tried searching around the forums and I found couple of threads related to Lenovo U430P, but found nothing directly downloadable. Not sure if it is even possible, but hopefully it is. I get a lot of interference with my Bluetooth so I need to switch to 5.4GHz ideally.

Any help is appreciated!
