I get an error 1802 "Unauthorized wireless card" on boot.

the file 'fbj9dfusa.iso/IMAGEFB.ROM' contains just 6MB update, I need full BIOS.

I’m trying to replace a defective Intel 7260 Mini PCI-E WiFi adapter with a Intel AX210-based Mini PCI-E WiFi adapter & am getting a “Error: 1802” message.

I am running Linux Mint on this PC, unlocked the PCs bios by moving the jumper from CLR to ME & have used flashrom & dd to extract & split the rom file into 2 rom files.

BIOS Revision Level is FBKTE0AUS.

I stuck the WiFi module in a laptop that’s running a Live version of Linux Mint & ran the “lspci -nn” command in terminal & it came up with the following device ID:

0c:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Intel Corporation Wi-Fi 6E(802.11ax) AX210/AX1675* 2x2 [Typhoon Peak] [8086:2725] (rev 1a).

According to the command “lspci -v”, the subsystem ID is:

Subsystem: Intel Corporation Wi-Fi 6 AX210 160MHz.

According to another website, the hardware ID is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2725.

What else do I need to do?

Could somebody please help me with this?
