Hi,

I need remove WIFI whitelist from Lenovo Thinkpad E431 laptop.
E431 has 2 bios chips on the board.
Previously the WIFI whitelist was on 4M bios chip, but by current version it is maybe on 8M bios chip.
Just in case, I upload both of the 2 bios rom files.
Please help me remove whitelist

bios version : HEET52WW

Thanks in advance

I'm coming to this thread because I am still using my edge e431 but want to upgrade it to Windows 10. When I did this back in 2015 I had problems with the wireless card, but this time I am willing to do the whole BIOS flashing process. I mainly use a desktop now, so I can afford to take the risk. I have opened up the laptop before to upgrade the processor, but I have no experience with flashing the BIOS.

To get started, could someone advise on whether this card and these tools will work? I'm not sure how to check the card compatability with my motherboard. Is it according to the chipset? I picked this one because it is listed on this post: http://www.pwrusr.com/dirty-hacks/solved...ss-upgrade

These are the links I'm looking at:
