Hello everyone!

Seeing yesterday's success for the x120e leads me to assume that the whitelist removal procedure for this laptop is just as simple. Please help me out, I need to install an SSD and a Linux-compatible WiFi card that aren't possible with an unmodified BIOS.

(v. 2.56)
BIOS INFO: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?&DocID=DS029771
BIOS DOWNLOAD: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj17us.exe

Please also provide flashing instructions, it is my first time bothering with a UEFI based system and I don't want to solder cables onto the chip yet Tongue

Also, if anyone can unlock Virtualization or some of the other features that aren't enabled by default, please do so too Smile

Thanks very much!

Thanks! Should I flash to the same BIOS version and then flash this one? Also, what is the likelihood of a brick?

It's not bios.
It's tool for backup.

Sorry for the late reply, here's the link: https://filetea.me/default/#t1sQi2LQnmvQhxu9GpWaHPD4Q

If you have a different suggested file host or if there are problems downloading from FileTea, let me know.

Kind of looks hopeless seeing that flash is protected to an extent.
