[REQUEST] Lenovo ThinkPad X131e (Intel, G8ETxxWW) Whitelist Removal

I'm hoping to have anywhere near the same kind of luck as other users. I bought a new 802.11ac card today and I can't even use it! I tried the "generalized" ROM posted in this thread (after flashing original) with no luck -- it says the image is invalid.

I have already backed up and uploaded my ROM. The original filename is "LENOVO-G8ET96WW(2.56).rom", and the link is here:

The update process warned of a checksum error, but when I rebooted the new card works great!!!!

Whoa, that was fast!

Pflash complained about wrong checksum, but looks like it worked anyway. No more "error 1802: Unauthorized network card" on boot.

I too have a Lenovo x131e with bios G8ET99WW (2.59) just updated via the Lenovo site as I thought it may help with the wlan whitelist (how wrong I was!). I have tried to run the reportback.exe but if I open the results.rar the info.txt says this:-

I did run this with administrator privileges.. my question is are the bios mods posted here specific to each machine or can I use the modded "ThinkPad_X131E_G8ET99WW_NWL_Nephiel" that was posted here?
