Unfortunately, I found this message. 
60 and c7 are same.

Hi,
I tried to downgrade to version H0ET35WW  but an error occured see the picture      
I checked the BIOS history for my model here: http://support.lenovo.com/cz/cs/products...s/DS033264
It seems that H0ET35WW  is some very old version.

Any thoughts what is wrong?

Ty for the reply. The downgrade wasn't successful. I have received the following message: "Invalid file when secureFlash is on in ROM. The utility process has not completed". I'm really getting annoyed with this laptop.

Any more ideas? Maybe I can change my new WIFI card ID? But I don't how to do that...

Hi mate,
Actually all 530 Series are Locked and Eeprom Chip are Write Protected so
only using the Tools (SPI PGM + Clip) is possible to make this job !

hello DBMaster, i followed this thread and i suspect that this file and procedure will work on my system, i wonder if you could help me with this.
mine is a thinkpad edge e430 3254 3us and i also hope whitelist could be removed in order to install a intel 612BNXHMW wifi/wan card.
