Hey again,

I just wanted to share, that I have found a temporary solution to make the card work and wanted to share with you.

Put the laptop to sleep (DONT TURN IT OFF), leave the power cord in, remove the battery and change the new card. Put everything back together and your new card is working. In fact I'm using my Intel wireless dual band 7260 ac right now to post this.

The trick is, if you will reboot the computer, you will get the same 1802 error. If that happens just repeat the process and you are fine again. Since I restart rarely I'm quite happy that there is some workaround this "whitelist" nonsense.

I would be very careful. When the laptop is in sleep mode the wifi card is probably still working so there is a potential risk that you damage the wifi card or even the motherboard.

Ofc there is a risk, but there is always a risk that bios flash might go wrong and you will have a "brick" and no, I haven't tried the mod you linked.

Unfortunately it didn't help either. The same error 28 appears.
Is there any chance? What about to replace some obsolete wifi card in the whitelist with the new one?

Only olders Bios Versions were unlocked and actually are all locked !
We cannot Deowngrade to that versions and We cannot rewrite back
the Bios Mod !
I am sorry !!!
Only the Tools can do this job !
