[REQUEST] Lenovo Thinkpad T410 (6IETxxWW) Whitelist Removal

Hi Camiloml,

I don't know how far you guys with the testing on this one as i don't see any update it. I would like to test it myself if you can support me? basically i just posted a request here which i obviously have old bios.

In order for me to test this should i update my bios 1st to the latest version right? Or should i update to the one that you are modding right now?

Basically here's my bios details at the moment.
Model and Machine Type: Lenovo T410 [2522-B89]
Bios Version: 1.28 (6IET68WW)
Bios Date: 2010-07-12

The Latest Bios is:
Bios Version: 1.40 (6IET80WW)
Bios Date: 19 Dec 2011
Bios Link: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj25us.exe


I'm online everyday so i can update you closely with the progress of the update in-case.

Thank you and apology for the late reply due to our time difference.

Just to make sure i still have the old version of bios which is 1.28 (6IET68WW) un-modded. And you want me to update my bios directly to a new version 1.39 (6IET79WW) modded version?

If so can you point me to the link please. And once i have the file and extracted it just run the executable file which is WinPhlash.exe right?

Can you mod this for me instead? If you can mod this to BIOS SLIC 2.1 and remove the WHITELIST please. Thanks,

Ok I downloaded one of this file which i believed they are all the same and when i ran the WinPlash.Exe under 32bit folder i got this error. It says the FLASHABL.ROM cannot be found. Can you tell me how can i flash my bios using this file. Thanks.

That files are 3 different bios versions for your t410 with whitelist removed.

And the way tu use them is just doubleclick on them once downloaded. Don't need to mess with winphlas folder and or 32/64 bit. Just run it and go ahead until it flashes your system.

I got all your tree files and tested them but like the comment below they were all successfully flash my Bios. But when you check your Bios version still the old one.

And i was thingking that is just the version number that did not updated so i tried to put my WiFI card but didn't work whitelist still enable.

Thanks, this time your package works but... after update it says "Your bios was successfully updated... You need to restart machine to take effects..." and after restart machine my bios is still old I mean ver. 1.35 6IET75WW not 1.39 6IET79WW as it should be I don't know what is wrong and this time i think I'm gonna give up...
