I pulled the chip and read directly twice with my ch341 and verified it with HxD.  I am unsure of the BIOS version at this point.

I see there is a new UEFI version 2.77 on Oct. 3 2019 for the x230 laptop. Before I update to this I wanted to reach out and ask if there are any concerns to updating and then having it modded?

I'd like to request a BIOS mod for my Thinkpad X230. The BIOS version is G2ETB6WW (2.76).

I'd like the following features, please:

  * Whitelist removal: batteries + WiFi adapters + WWAN adapters
  * 'Advanced' menu enablement

Here are the necessary files (I used flashrom to dump these):

  * Lenovo-Thinkpad-X230-BIOS-4MB.rom (SHA256: c1482dfb55bb99fd843dc40627e7871881f1e05e50b1c7de6d9203d67c8ef914)
  * Lenovo-Thinkpad-X230-BIOS-8MB.rom (SHA256: 852cb7b803f3641660b8d351802ed9f73d4ac8b5a960e6dc9735fa08f2903af3)
