Isn't it strange that the Model Name shown in BIOS is INVALID?

Also if you look at the attached BIOS screen under Product Name it is INVALID. Hmm ...

Flashed, successfully unlocked!

Just wish to know what it's safe to tinker with, and what is NOT SAFE at all. There are a few great options I'd like to turn on/turn off, but I'm afraid of bricking the laptop.

I know that removing the CMOS battery and the main battery doesn't reset the BIOS on the Y50 model, so all changes must be sure.

It seems I'm encountering a weird bug.

I can't put the laptop to sleep when on battery. It sleeps fine, however, when on AC.
Also, the battery LED is stuck ON, when it's supposed to turn off when the charger is disconnected.

@BDMaster, is there any way to fix this? If not, how can I recover the original BIOS?

Thanks!

To reflash your Original Bios You have to ways :

1. Original Bios Installer FIle from Lenovo
2. Use your Bios Backup then rename as bios.bin then replace into modified folder

Reflash same way like Bios Mod only writeing your Bios Backup !
Regards

P.S. I cannot solve that issue but You can change settings into Control Panel about
Sleep Mode Energy saving !

Downgrade needs only to permit the Flashing Process so You need
Downgrade before Flash your Bios Mod as It will unlock the Eeprom Chip !
Here You go :

User ID-10T error, sorry. A low VCCIN setting was causing it to crash when on battery, when put to sleep.
Increasing the VCCIN seems to have solved it. Thanks for the response!

Thank you very much. I downgrade to Y50-70 BIOS 1.14 and then go to sleep mode and wake it up?

Can you please also do a BIOS without advanced and just a whitelist removal please? I have read a bit more about advanced features, and as it seems there isn't an easy way to CLR CMOS, so fiddling too much will most likely lead to a brick. I just wanted to explore the options, but not at that cost.

I also have a external CH341 programmer,. Would it be better to do it via the external programmer?
