Now I have unlocked version of 1.13. Can I use some1 else unlocked 1.14 or do I have to first update mine to 1.14 and than get my own unlock?

I had to get a m.2 version of the Intel ac 7260. I ordered wrong one first.

I bought the one with 2 connectors first, but had to get a hold of the m.2 version (the one with 1 big and 2 small connectors).

One last thing the back cover of my laptop i cannot seem to get it open. I tried to lift in from bottom and tried to push forward, but the hing wont snap. I dont want to break it apart :p

Maybe you have some hints ?

I don't know your laptop and don't know if It get a lock switch on front, but if It so, You can use a little blade to glide to right the hooks unlocked.
They are connected to a spring and are mobiles.
Better lo download the Hardware Maintenance Guide and look of there.

Upload new Bios Backup and I will prepare for You.
Using other Bios Mod You will clone the user's Laptop on your !

Yeah it was hard the first time to snap, actually think i broke a little plastic bit of (very small in that case, didnt find it). I hear you lift it abit, then push it away (the bit that locked for me was just where the screen is attached). Theres a couple youtube videos of ppl openeing it and showing how its supposed to be dine (didnt help me thou hehe)

Even if i did broke something the lid still fits perfectly, cant see any difference.

Also be careful with the screws, use a very good and perfect fit screwdriver, screws are soft and can be easily be flatttened with big screwdriver with bad fit to the [censored]. Not super easy, but still dubble check your equipment so its a good fit


Also on my modified bios v1.14 now, working like a clock and getting impressive dual band speeds now, next thing is to get my AC router! This was the only [censored] party about my y50-70, loving it like a baby now with the wifi fixxed!

I need some help...
So, I stack together laptop from old parts, most of them are from Toshiba satellite L350-147 (LCD, housing)...but motherboard is from Toshiba l300-17o. Visible difference is in screen size, l300 is 15", and L350 is 17", and MBOs are exactly the same (at least regarding dimensions, connectors....), so the Frankenstein laptop (after replacing NEC/TOKIN capacitor on MBO) starts to work (great, right?). The only bad thing is that the 105key keyboard acts like it is 85 key keyboard... A friend of my said "there is a numb-lock option in BIOS", so i have search for it, but there is no such option, I have insyde BIOS 1.5 version (MBO Part number: PSLB0E-06U015G3), I was looking and it seams to be the last update...and no numb-lock option in BIOS... So I have tried to turn numpad with Fn+F11, numlock led turns on but numeric pad is not working, and I have found that numbers are allocated across leathers [m j k l u i o 7 8 9 ] and not over the numpad ...

So, the big question is, is it possible to update l300 with modded BIOS where 105key keyboard would function in proper way?
If answer is "yes" please direct me in what to search for, and what to learn more to make keyboard work as expected.
