Hello!
as i understand right peoples are uploading their bioses (report file) to mod the bios and to keep windows's original serial #.
so if i don't care about serial #, can i just flash somebody's modded bios from this thread? ))

Problem is you would be taking someone else serial number, imo. it would be best to keep the serial number you got, because you might need it someday, and i don't think that ppl would want to share theirs.

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum and like many, looking for an unlocked bios file becouse the wifi card is terrible ( cant stream video's with this laptop, while i can with every one i had in the past with thesame wifi router, like 10+ laptops!)

I have executed the file in the first page: NEW_BACKUP_FPT.exe , but it gives me a 7-zip Unsupported method, i extracted the file but there are only some tools in it, i cant find anything to get an output about my current bios.

Anyone knows what to do?

I am at 2.01 atm btw!

I've read some things about downgrading to the 1.X version then flash your custom 2.X, is that neccicary or can i just flash the one u give me?

Your Bios version is 37 so is not moddable !

Run this to downgrade:

Remember to set the option in bios that enables you to flash an older bios, before you run it.

Then use again the tools I sent above to reupload the new results file (Bios Backup)

And littleman indeed, i have a new intel mini pcie wifi card laying around and wanted to put that in, but it seems to be an M2 or also called an NGFF slot.
Is that intel the best card available, or is there any choise between good wifi cards? there is so little info to find about NGFF slots...
