hello i need the unlocked bios for this laptop too (lenovo y520 15ikbn) i have the programmer+clip and extracted the bios alreday , if you need something more to help me just tell me what to do

i just don`t know how to enable the "advanced tab" by myself ;(

Hello, I Have Lenovo Legion Y520 15ikbn with i5 7300HQ, GTX 1050 4GB. I have added Samsung 970 Evo 500GB and second 8GB RAM, so now I have 16 GB of DDR4 2400 Mhz RAM. I'd like to get more performance from this CPU, is there any chance you could make a functioning custom bios where I could overclock it?


Now in games I have max 70°C without turbo cooling and max 65 °C with turbo cooling on CPU

And on GPU I have max 65 °C without turbo cooling and max 60 °C with turbo cooling

would you help me please modify my laptop bios to unlock all the features such like cpu overclock\underclock - power managment - enable virtualization - Fans control and every possible features.

*i managed to get SIP programmer and i did some researches and learnt how to use it ,i just need someone to code the bios file when i read it from the chip 

my pc is lenovo legion y520 running the factory defaults insydeh20 ver 5 bios.

*here you can find all the needed information as it showen in Hwinfo64 program :

i opened my laptop looking for the bios chip and i found two chips that look like they are flashable chips near the NVME SSD slot , but i couldnt identify wich one is bios chip also i couldnt find anything on the internet that can help me to ,so i decided to read the data from the both chips and i can upload it to you...the name that written above each one of it is:
the first chip is : Winbond 25Q80JVSIQ 1744 (i exported 1mb file size from it)
the second one is : Winbond 25Q64JVSIQ 1743 (i exported 8mb file size from it)

I changed the motherboard of my Y520-15IKBN with an I7-7700HQ and a GTX1050TI.
But the serial number and model in the BIOS are "INVALID" and the MAC address of the network card displays 00-00-00-00-00-00.

I looked in many places (Lenovo Disk Maintenance), but could not find anything because the EEPROM is in Write-Protected.
I also bought a black CH341A module and then a green CH341A.

I was able to save the information from the Winbond 25Q64FYSIQ chip in a BIN file but don't know what to do with it so that I can write to the BIOS and change the settings.

The system reference is LENOVO_BI_IDEAPAD4K_BU_idea_FM
My BIOS is version 4KCN45WW
Its W25Q64FYSIQ chip.

J'ai changé la carte mère de mon Y520-15IKBN avec un I7-7700HQ et une GTX1050TI.
Mais le numéro de série et le modèle dans le BIOS sont "INVALID" et l'adresse MAC de la carte réseau affiche 00-00-00-00-00-00.

J'ai regardé à bien des endroits (Maintenance Disquette Lenovo, ) mais impossible de trouver quoi que ce soit car l'EEPROM est en Write Protected.
J'a également acheté un module CH341A noir puis un CH341A vert.


J'ai pu enregistrer les informations de la puce Winbond 25Q64FYSIQ dans un fichier BIN mais ne sais pas quoi en faire pour que je puisse écrire dans le BIOS et changer les paramètres.

I have a Lenovo legion y520 15IKBN please help me mod my bios (or please do it for me) as I want to unlock the settings to change my ram timing or maybe also overclock from 2400mhz to 2666mhz.
