So I need to have it splitted to upgrade bios via SPI programmer.

Each bios chip's content has some garbage before image and at end.
You must read each bios dump using programmer and provide it me.
I'll redo it for update.

Hi,
If put my old unblocked bios into flash via SPI programmer and now I have difference in EC version but my wifi card is working.
The problem is that during soldering I probably a little bit damaged one path so I don't want to resolder winbond flash again.

Notebook is working as expected, but still I'm wondering if I could have these 2 versions (40 and 38) instead of one. Just please let me know if there are are any obstacles ...

Did you tried to flash mod using Pomona clip?

Yes. Unfortunately when clip is connected to flash in mainboard there is communication problem. I've also tried to remove VCC pin without luck.
(with standalone it's working perfectly).

You may take risk and update from InsydeFlash.
Find option and choose do not update EC bios.

1.Set your laptop to suspended mode and wake up it after few seconds.
2.Run BackupTools again as Admin and look at result2.png
