REQUEST PLEASE =) Pavilion G6 1232 Insyde BIOS

Need my bios to have an option to change Hard Drive to IDE mode, only 16 years old, took ages to get my parents to buy me my new laptop so I dont want to ruin it tryin to mod a bios :S Any help would be great
