[REQUEST] Packard Bell IMEDIA X5511 SP original bios or Unlock for the updated one
#1
Hi, I'm not sure if i'm in the right place, if i'm not, sorry.

I bought a second hand PC, Packard Bell IMEDIA X5511 SP. I was having some BSODs, and i rode it could be fixed upgrading the ROM. I went to PB support page and downloaded the BIOS ROM they were providing for my PC (R01-A3c).

I succesfully upgraded it, but fans were going too mad (~3400RPM vs ~1600 original BIOS) with no reason and got some random restarts. When i was going to my original ROM backup (R01-A2 2008-12-10) i noticed it was corrupt (i did it wrong or it was somehow corrupted).

So if someone have the same computer as me and can provide me a backup of the original BIOS ROM, i'd be gratefull.

To be clearer, i need R01-A2 (2008-12-10) BIOS for Packard Bell IMEDIA X5511 SP. Motherboard is Foxxcon MCP7AM01P8 -1.0-8EKSH

P.D. I know the answer is no, but i found an ACER computer with same motherboard and BIOS, different CPU ( Core 2 Quad 9300 vs Core 2 Quad 8300 of the Packard Bell). the model is Acer Aspire M7711. Could i try to flash the BIOS with that ACER ROM? I ensured it is same bios and not an ACER nomenclature.

EDIT2: Since the ROM is working fine but the fan speed, an unlock of it could also work. Here's the link of the ROM i installed   https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0LVp-S...sp=sharing  it is R01-A3C0.
Tyvm in advance

Pfffff i have the feeling my computer is gonna die, or at least the fans. I've been stressing it out with some gaming and the CPU fan went ut to 4500 RPM.

Is there any way to get some old links up again btw? i think there's a couple of roms that might work from the archive, i'm a bit desesperated.
