I will not be held responsible for anything that may go wrong with your BIOS, and by downloading a modded bios you are held responsible for what you choose to do with it. Big Grin

Need to unlock this BIOS update for a few friends so they can overclock their cpus. (surprisingly their comp specs match mine)
I'm looking into doing this myself but I'm barely just learning the ropes with the tools and what not.
So in the mean time maybe you guys can help me out and possibly save me a lot of time.

Replies sure are slow on this website huh. =T
Anyway, I learned a little bit more about BIOS but I'm a little intimidated by the BIOS numbers you have to edit. I really don't wanna go near that route but I'm slowly venturing down the road, getting the hang of it actually.
But still i need a lot more to understand.
I'm gonna attach the BIN files while i am here cause i notice the links i posted were EXE files.
i had to extract the bin files from it. Also i checked both BIN files with modbin6 and I'm not sure there are hidden secrets in either of them, it seems....but idk I'm still learning what things are so maybe their hidden still.

Attachments include Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG Versions 5.38 and the latest update Version 5.49.

Could you please unlock the hidden settings in this bios. I've flashed my bios with this file to test it, it is exact that came with this system.
If no one can unlock this bios, what program could I use, modbin6 not working, pbe not work, any ideas.
I have a Compaq Presario CQ5210F that has the Pegatron M2N68-LA (Narra5) motherboard.

I do not have the option to change to ACHI, and I need it. please help me to get this feature or send me to the right place for it, thank you

I will also attach a rom with a backup of my bios.
