This mod for this notebook ONLY !!!
I didn't use it for another computer or anything. The problem is that I still can't find hyperthreading control.

I can see it in the EFI-table: Power-tab --> Advanced CPU control --> HT Support
Is that setting not visible for you in the BIOS?

No, it's not visible. Here's what I see when I enter ">EFI" from the Boot tab: http://i.imgur.com/6aXCYAF.jpg

Ok, do you have the Power-tab?
If you do, is the Advanced CPU Control option there?

No, I don't have a power-tab.

In don't know how to unlock tabs for this model, but Dudu2002 might be able to do it.
You might also be able to change the setting this way (needs to be adapted): http://www.geektech.co.nz/how-to-unlock-...enovo-y700

Here's the according setting:
0xE164 Setting: HT Support, Variable: 0x1BC[1] {05 09 BC 01 01 52 02 53 02}
0xE16D Option: Auto, Value: 0x1 {09 09 09 00 01 00 05 F9 0C}
0xE176 Option: Disabled, Value: 0x0 {09 09 07 00 00 00 04 F9 0C}

And here's the EFI-table: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4NHIBM...xlc3c/view

But where should I write the command "H2OUVE.exe -gv vars.txt"?
Could you explain more briefly please?
