I've been searching since last night and I can't find an unlocked bios.

I don't know much about this, but all I know is in advanced options,
only thing that is able to be edited is the Virtualization Technology.

I'll post pictures soon, but for now, please help?

Link to the bios? IS that the bios dump or the site link?

Site link: http://s02.download.sony.com/US/pc/ISBSY...1-1040.EXE

I only see bios update utility. Please help me, I can understand directions and comprehend things clearly, but I just need to know what to do!

It's InsydeH20 Rev 3.5 R0190Z9

Hello,

we have a Sony Vaio VPCEH3G1E and need to change the AHCI Mode. But the BIOS installed doesn't let you change a lot of things. So we are looking for an unlocked BIOS for this notebook and hope you can help us.

The original Insyde BIOS file provided by Sony can be found here:

Thanks for any help.

Best regards,

Hello everyone!

I'm having issues regarding my laptop: I'd like to install a windows XP version on my laptop and am getting a bluescreen at installation with an error code STOP 0x0000007B.

Apparently this has to be with the SATA-raid or SATA-AHCI mode of the bios. I'd like to see what's up with that and possibly fix the issue but I don't seem to have access to a lot of options in my bios. I tried downloading the latest version from the sony website but nothing has been added.

I did some research, including in these forums but I'm afraid the bios stuff is very specific and I don't want to mess with that in a way that I won't even be able to start it at all x)

So computer is: Sony Vaio VPC-EH1E1E
Bios version: R0200Z9
Download link: ftp.ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/VAIO/Updates/EP0000268721.exe (not sure if this link is correct. Please tell me if wrong)

Thanks in advance
