I'm looking to have the whitelist check removed from this BIOS:

Bios Type : Phoenix BIOS (New Style)

I tried phnxpatch, but it didn't find the pattern. Probably because this is the new style Phoenix BIOS. Should I give up? Thanks for any advice.

I´m new at this forum and hope somebody could help me with my problem. I want to change the WiFi Card of my Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 15 0319 but how you all now Lenovo doesn´t like this ....
I allready found a Thread about this (http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Th...-Whitelist) but the link is down and the 2nd link I´m not sure if it will work (first time I remove whitelist and I don´t want to see my notebook in the tresh ^^) and it would be perfect if somebody here could help me (also with the newest bios version ) but older Versions would be also ok for me

It is phoenix bios, can't backup (bad rom backup)
