Recovering From A Bad Award Bios Flash

Hello!

I need some help.
I have an Acer Veriton 7600GT-Phoenix AWD BIOS D686. I flashed it with wrong BIOS file. (R02-A4)
And the correct file is R03-B2.
Now I can't reflash it. I tried everything. Every tool, every file, DOS, Windows, everything. Please help.

Now I get the message -This BIOS File is not supported Bios lock Function- or -This file doesn't match- or some.

Use the /f command to get rid of the BIOS lock function error.

So, if my computer turns on and runs, but gives off exactly NOOOO display, my bios/mobo is dead?

It doesn't mean it's completly dead, it just means your BIOS may be corrupt. There are additional things you can look into for ways to recover your PC.

I have a gateway model jm30 or u73. I tried to flash it with slic 2.1. When I went to reboot the light above the keyboard come on for two or three seconds and it goes off. i bought a usb floppy and put the bios file H13VGW.205 on the floppy. I can hear the floppy engage when the laptop turns on but the floppy light never come on. I can't get it to force flash my laptop. i am desperate for some help.
