Use Sleep Bug to flash Bios Mod . . .

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

Hi mate flashed from an USB Stick in Pure DOS like wrote into Instructions ?
Trued too the Sleep Bug ?

Use Sleep Bug to flash Bios Mod . . .

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

If so then We can rewrite back your Bios Mod into Eeprom Chip only by
the Tools (SPI PGM + Clip) as Eeprom Chip is Write Protect !
Look here :

https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...5#pid74575

Last try is the Recovery Method to check if is possible yet as It is a v.2.xx !
So extract file bios.bin from modified folder thern rename as BA70X64.fd and prepare an
USB Stick FAT32 Formatted then copy It into and perform the Recovery Procedure . . .

Performing the emergency flash:

- Shutdown the netbook (notebook)
- Remove all peripheral devices
- Remove battery, Remove AC power cord
- Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds (battery and AC power still out), then release
- Put the USB Memory Stick in the USB port
- Hold "Fn" + "Esc" and plug the AC power cord in
- Now press the power button (whilst still holding Fn + Esc).
Wait until the fan will run, then release "Fn" + "Esc" keys
- The fan will run for about 2-10 minutes and the USB drive activity LED will blink
- I think the netbook rebooted automatically. If it doesn't, unplug the AC power cord once the fan has turned off

The bios should be updated with the modified BIOS, and boot as per normal.

let me know
regards
