[Request] Asus H87m-pro unlock

Hello I have a request for anBios Unlock on the Asus H87m-pro, in the bios are options for overclocking via the multiplier, and also to change the ram speed but it only goes to 1600mhz. Can somone make a custom bios so I can overclock the memory and maybe a bclk option so i can change the bclk.

Yeah I I modified thr bios with ami cbs and flashed it on the bios chip via eprom prohrammer but it does not work i think the modified bios is slightly larger than the stock one and does not fit on the chip or something and I really don't know how to do the other two steps.

Before you mod it ,you should understand if the motherboard chip support overclock feature. If it can't ,you should consider whether it has non-k oc feature.
Like this clue i found.



And on this platform ,even you install 4790k ,memory only run as ddr3 1600 at highest. You should consider whether this board can overclock memory ,instead of do useless things.

But the fact is that h87 forever can't become to z87. They just use the similar motherboard pcb layout design.
Amibcp only can let you unlock hidden options and let them appear in the bios screen , it can't solve the inborn hardware restricttion ,i hope you can understand these.

I think you could attempt this option.

@genius239 So yeah I tried and tried. I tried the option u suggested but it doesn't work. I know that an h87 can not become a z87 board but on other h87 boards it is possible to oc the ram after modding the bios.
