[Request] Biostar x470gtn bios unlock
#21
(11-28-2018, 12:21 PM)Lost_N_BIOS Wrote: OK, here is mod BIOS, change log included in file too

Almost all CBS Menu's should now be enabled -
@ DDR4 Common Options >> DRAM Timing Configuration / DRAM Controller Configuration / CAD Bus Configuration (all three subsections enabled)
@ Zen Common >> Custom Pstates / Throttling Subsection enabled
@ XFR Enhancement >> Precision Boost Overdrive Unlocked

Individual Settings Enabled
Advanced >> CPU configuration >> C6 Mode

Subsections enabled
O.N.E. >> MCT Configuration
O.N.E. >> Vivid LED Control

Updated CPU microcode 00800F82 from 8008206 (2/12/2018) to >> 800820B (6/20/2018)

If any section or subsection I enabled is blank let me know, I can fix probably (if I missed something)
Unfortunately I can't access any of the tabs except Main and Advanced. However both are empty, I've uploaded screenshots of what I'm able to access in the zip I have included. All the keyboard keys still work in the bios screen and the led section is still accessible via the F6 key. However Fan (F5) is not.

Do you mean BIOS is all messed up now, or do you mean you just can't access certain new sections I enabled? LED via F6? Were you always able to access LED settings, and if yes was the page called Vivid LED settings? If yes, maybe this is the issue, I didn't realize you could access the LED controls before, so this dupe enable may have messed things up!

Sorry, always something, I'll get it sorted for you! First, we'll do CBS and the microcode Only, those should not have negative effect. Then one by one I'll redo the rest, leaving out the Vivid LED enable since that's already enabled for you another way outside of O.N.E.

Will edit in the above described BIOS shortly, apologies again for the oversight on this Vivid LED I bet that's what broke the BIOS

* Edit - Here is redo! CBS mod and ucode update only

Almost all CBS Menu's should now be enabled -

Great, thanks for the test update! I thought it might be fine, sorry I didn't see that Vivid LED at the top already, I'm pretty sure enabling that twice from two different areas/methods is what caused the break Big Grin

Do you want to try adding back in these two changes now, or is that all you need?
Advanced >> CPU configuration >> C6 Mode

Subsections enabled
O.N.E. >> MCT Configuration - Here's an image from AMIBCP of settings inside MCT Config, maybe you don't want? It's memory related, but 3 out of 4 are already enabled once you load optimal settings.
