Hello needing an unlocked bios for the dell inspiron 7720

Dell 17R SE 7720 laptop with A12 BIOS (delivered with A10)

I am new here but I am told BIOS version A10 release in September 2012 was the last unlocked version as 7720A10.exe. When Dell released A11 and A12 Dell also removed the A10 download from their site because they decided to lock it up. Does anyone have original unaltered 7720A10.exe?

My experience with A12 is that it was released too early with minimal testing and it loses it UEFI, Secure ON boot-up device priority list which should be a) HD 0 in Bay 1, b) HD 1 in Bay 2, c) CD/DVD Drive and then it will require two power-ups after a WIN8 RESRTART or SHUTDOWN. The second power-up seems to invoke a "fail safe" code that looks at HD in Bay 1.

Most users are holding onto A10 until Phoenix fixes this. Even F2 and F12 ceases to let you into the BIOS as time progresses. Seems Phoenix has some adaptive configuration strategy that does not work properly yet with Win 8.

I have what supposedly is an A08 BIOS for Inspiron 7720, but it's unpacked, not in it's OEM exe form.
