Adapters came early! I've PM'd you the dumps. There are two EEPROMs on the board, next to each other. The 4mb chip I think is the BIOS, not sure what the 1MB EEPROM is for. There's a pic of the two chips on the board included with the rar.

Anything you can unhide or unlock in the menus would be great, and if you can remove the whitelist system, that would be awesome too! If not, I'll take the whatever you can do to it, the WL for the WWAN card would be the most useful!

Thanks man!

Awesome work! Newest revision works perfectly, no whitelisting of anything! Sierra MC7700 working perfectly, returns on it's own after sleep, and obeys both the hardware switch and airplane mode without problems.

Replacement of "Info" screen with completely unlocked "Debug" menu for all options is perfect too! Was able to tweak the PCIe parameters, processor states, and power management ASPM parameters to drop another 1-2W of power usage for an extra hour or so of battery life without much performance loss.

Hardware flashed the chip with the modified dump file - be sure to pull the CMOS battery before flashing and put it back in before first boot. Should get a checksum error & time/date needs set message. Not pulling the battery before flashing resulted in a no-power bricking situation. Reflashed with CMOS battery out and worked correctly afterwards.

Thanks again!

Well... we are all happy that you resolved your problem. How about to share it with people so they also could do it on theirs own (to not creating new thread, waiting for modding their bios etc)?

WTF? I submitted and waited as everyone else has.

I mean, why BDMaster for example need to repeat his work when you already have the fixed file? Why not to share it?
Or why to create two threads with exactly same request for exactly same notebook, when there is already one thread, with solution (but not published for reason which I don't get)

Why you're sharing instructions but won't share bios itself?

For this laptop all mods are personal
All mods are made on the basis of a personal dump that contains serial numbers, WIN key, service tag, passwords and other personal information
you understand?

Thank you that you invested your time for explanation.
I found a way to dump bios without SPI using Intel FPT, with HDA pin trick. Could be such dump considered as personal?
