[Request] Gateway NV79 Advanced Menu

Hello, I'm looking for a way to access the Advanced menu and other hidden menus in the BIOS of my Gateway NV79, specifically the HPET= 64 option. I can't seem to find info on this anywhere. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm pretty new to this stuff.

Well it seems like this thread is sorta dying. That's too bad, I was hoping to get some help here. I suppose I should try to learn how to do something about this myself. I will get my hackintosh someday lol.

I'd like an unlocked BIOS as well for the NV79. In particular I am interested in the Use XD Capability feature to be something that I can enable.

I saw an NV55C BIOS mod - looks the same. The NV79C and NV79 are both HM55 Express MBs and features look the same other than the high res webcam on the NV79C. Could the BIOSs be interchangable?

I could really use someone's help here!

I am canceling my request for a modded BIOS for the NV79.

The reason for my request was to access to the XD bit enable setting to install Window 8 Pro.

Despite the warning from Window Update, installing Window 8 Pro does work on the Gateway NV7921u.

BTW: I added the latest Synaptics touchpad drivers for Edge Action and Gestures and Stardock Start 8. I am really pleased with the results!
