Hi mate,
Try to unlock all features using this Tutorial and Guide :

https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-G...ios-Unlock

https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-G...EFI-Aptio4

Here is the last AMIBCP version 4.55 :

http://rghost.net/59893020

Here is a Tutorial to modify AMI Aptio Bios :

http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads...MSR-unlock!

Follow CodeRush Suggestions :

It's certanly not so easy for BIOSes with another menu setup, but the whole idea is the same.
I could also recommend trying AMIBCP to modify menu entries vilibility from "Default" to "USER",
if your menu setup is more complex then a setup above.

I have to flash my image on the administrator commandline using afuwinx64 bios_mod.rom /GAN . . .
Otherwise it gives me a security error (Thanks again CodeRush)

Let me know
Regards

Thanks. I have made an unlocked BIOS with that method. But the size of the modded BIOS is 6 MB whereas the original bios is 8 MB in size. Is there anything to worry about then ?

EDIT- I just flashed the modded bios and everything went fine. But I am not seeing any unlocked features. Even the bios settings have not been reset to default, all the settings are same as they were earlier.

Hi, thats was so dumb of me. I just didn't load the optimal defaults before backing it up and modifying, so probably all those settings got carried forward to the new rom. I tried again with unlocking just one setting "Enhanced turbo" and it worked. Now, I am running my processor's all cores at 4.4 GHz. So, now I will unlock the voltage setting and that will be all.

But I have got just one confusion. Some settings are appearing twice or even four times in that bios editor. See this screenshot below. Is it normal ? Am I supposed to set all of them to "User" ? Or just one out of the 2 or 4 ?

P.S. just not modify more than one variable (row) for any couples Wink

Ok mate,
It's only a AMI bios structure issue and will be solved into new AMIBcp versions !
