The NCPUCODE that your bios contained was stripped of many older LGA775 CPUs. I updated the bios for a GA-EP45-DS5 bios 13d with the following changes:

ICH10R southbridge - v12902006 with the TRIM mod
RTL8111C ethernet - rtegrom260.lom
SATA2 chip - jmb1.07.24
ICHAACHI 1.2 original from a EP45-USB3P
Updated NCPUCODE

I've used the above in my MBs and they are stable.

Enable your private messaging if you like to have replies that way.

I'll take a look at it tonight. Check your Xeon CPU's adapter under a microscope. I had problems with booting up. trimming some excess plastic to expose more of the LGA pads solved the problem.

Modded only the following:
ICH10R southbridge - v12902006 with the TRIM mod
RTL8111C ethernet - rtegrom260.lom
SATA2 chip - jmb1.07.24
ICHAACHI 1.2 original from a EP45-USB3P

No changes were made to NCPUCODE

Attached is an update of an original ep45ds5rev10.13d bios with the above mods.
