Update: I have managed to change the logo with Phoenix tool. Since im on a roll, how do i change the serial and uuid and manufaturer in the bios

My Acer 5750g MB failed so i bought a used broken screen packard bell laptop (easynote te11hc) and put the board from the PB into the Acer chassis as it is nicer look.

I mostly just want the logo changed to acer instead of packard bell when it boots (for aesthetics) but the unlocked options would be great as i had it on the acer. I used ezh20 to modify try modify the file but i cant find the .fd file in the firmware download from packard bell after extracting and the backed up firmware gives me and EC error when i try flash it after modifying it. I am very new at this so it is probably me. I am also not sure what size to choose??

I do know there is a modified file for the acer V3-571 but i am still worried i break the firmware file and brick my laptop so someone who knows what they are doing is preferable before i brick this board.

I tried modding the pre modded acer v3-571 .fd file. I changed the logo to the acer on and then flashed the modded file via the FN+ESC method. It flashes but the packard bell logo remains.

Please could someone assist in changing the logo to Acer in the firmware so it forces the acer logo and not the PB logo
