Request for Updates Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4
#11
Thanks, but this is for the GA-EX58-UD4P model.
The board we are using is called simply UD4 without the P.
I don't know the exact differences, but I guess the bios versions are not interchangeable ...

My apologies. The initial search on the Gigabyte website did not reveal the existence of this MB. I see it now. Looking at its specs, the similarities are still there.

for GA-EX58-UD4 without the P (rev. 1.0), I used the F11T version dated 2011/01/28 and made the following changes:

ICH10R southbridge - v13.1.0.2030
8111D ethernet - rtegrom259.lom
SATA2 chip - jmb362_C_1.07.28
AHCI-pchahci_1.20E

The AHCI was the same size as the original so it probably has not changed.
I do not have this MB so I have no means of testing the mod so proceed at risk; however, there is great similarity to the GA-EP45-UD3p and GA-EP45T-USB3P which I've modded with the above changes that I feel confident it should work. In addition, I compared the updates to DANSOLO's earlier work and the same changes were previously made.

The Intel RAID OROM will work with the latest 13.0.0.1098 RST

Hi....I'm a newbie
I am currently running 14p version of bios.
If I load this version that you show here, does that mean that the windows will be oem version now?
If not, can you plz tell me exactly what I need to do to accomplish oem/genuine?
Thanks!

Can you clarify your question? Is your motherboard part of an OEM system with Windows installed? If so, you will need an SLIC installed in the bios. I can provide that but I will need to know the manufacturer of your system (DELL, HP etc).
