I have a Lenovo E545 bios version HRET22WW (1.10) and want whitelist removal so I can upgrade my WAN card. I do not see an active download directory for this BIOS available. Can this be recreated or if available can the download link be reposted?

I'm trying to upgrade to a dual band WiFI NIC in my E545.  I've searched through several related posts on the forum, and it looks like if I can post a BIOS dump to the community, someone may be able to tweak it.  Can someone point me to a How-To for saving a copy of my BIOS dump?  Thank you.

New guy here. Got a ThinkPad Edge E545 with A10 and a Broadcom chip. Wanna put an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 in it. Here's the stock BIOS it currently has. Pulled straight from the machine. It's the latest 1.13 model. It is also locked. Tried the Centrino and no boot.

It looks like the preferred tool for dumping the BIOS is "Universal BIOS Backup Tool 2.0". Doing a Google search, I've found some download locations; however, I'm getting malware/virus scan hits from everything I've found. I know there are always risks running an executable from an unknown source, but is there a link to "reasonably" assured clean installation? Thanks.
