One more question, is it possible to know if there is a "white list" of wi-fi cards in this BIOS, because I tried already 3 other cards from Intel, tested with many drivers, but only the original Broadcom card is working, the others are in the device manager but they are with error code 10....If there is a white/black list, is it possible to be removed?

Hi,

I have a European A500 - PSAM3E-00Y00FN5
Is it likely that this mod will brick my bios?

I've bought a backlit keyboard for my non-backlitted A500. The connector for backlight are there on my mobo.. I just need backlight options in bios so I can activate it.

The current bios for PSAM3E is v2.00, located in a windows-archive here:

Are the PSAR3C and PSAM3E similar enough to share ROM, or do I need to request a new mod?

UPDATE: I forceflashed the rom, and got backlight options.. but still no light.
