Hi,

Here is the final version of Vaio VGN-FE series...

Applicable Models:
VGN-FE44S, VGN-FE45G, VGN-FE45T, VGN-FE47S, VGN-FE48G

Im having a sony vaio vgn-fe48g lappie. im not able to flash your modded bios .
im getting " platform signature not found in the interface " error when trying to flash with phlash16. i tried with different versions of phlash16 but no use

I finally flashed the bios with a modded winflash tool
im able to find the vt option in the bios but im not able to find the AHCI option

How did you flash it? I am trying from DOS and I get the Platform error. 
Please let me know what tools you used and where you got them. There is no hard drive on this machine, so I am currently building a bootable xp usb stick so that i can try winphlash.

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FE41M with MBX-149 motherboard, 2Gb (2*1Gb) RAM and a T5500 processor (you can see it here http://ark.intel.com/products/27253/Inte...67-MHz-FSB )

I want to update the BIOS in order to have 4Gb (2*2Gb) RAM and a T7500 processor (you can see it here http://ark.intel.com/products/29761/Inte...00-MHz-FSB )

When I have try to use your bios version I have encountered this errors:

Can you please tell me what to do in order to be able to change the BIOS?
