TOSHIBA SATELLITE C660 PHOENIX BIOS TME Unlock ! Urgent help needed !

Hello.

I need urgent help because i am desperating about my notebook's BIOS (PHOENIX).

In fact: i own Toshiba Satellite C660-107 notebook which was equiped with Intel Pentium Dual T4500 CPU. After some research i made an upgrade with a new CPU (P8400) that is perfectly working (on Intel GL 40 chipset ! If you need instruction for that i am ready to present my work.)

The problem is: P8400 is now locked on its lowest multiplier and corresponding speed because there is a TME lock in f...ing BIOS ! So, it is not possible to raise locked FSB speed and achive full FSB speed (it is 266 MHz).

Please, help me to solve this problem ! ! !

Did you perform a BSEL mod similar to this:

If you did, then nothing can help you.

Best thing to do would be to find the PLL on the motherboard, find the datasheet for the PLL. Find the TME pin and connect it to GND.

Then you could possibly overclock the FSB to raise it back up.
