[Test] Asrock N68C-S UCC
#1
Hello,

I really want to have AHCI on my mainboard.
I'm absolutely new to the whole BIOS flashing, so I don't really know what to do here.

This is the Mainboard.

I saw on other threads that they included a *.rom file from the BIOS, but I don't know where to get this file, sorry.

Have you tried the mods i posted in that thread?

I think there's no point in opening another thread with the same request for the same board when the first one is answered by mods and not confirmed by requester.

So go there, download the mod files and test it. Then come back and tell us Smile

Please remember to come back and leave feedback. I hate leech and disappear thing.

Nice day.

camiloml, whot thread did you mean? I found only http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-AsRock-N68-S3-UCC but that board is absolutely different, and I afraid use it BIOS.
Please tell, if there is a BIOS mod for N68C-S UCC or how to do it manually. And thank you.

BIOS for N68C-S UCC:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Mo...UCC&o=BIOS

also here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Foru...a1110a68dc
explained that, as I understand, RAID mode also turn on ACHI (NCQ). Is that true?
But in Raid mode I must make Raid at least two HDDs or HDDs will not initialising

Hi.

I have made a test rom for you. Tell me if it works. Select "Native mode" under Sata configuration to activate AHCI mode.

I tested the TEST rom, but it doesn't works. The Native mode is on the "selection list"
but i unable to choose it, it jumps to IDE mode when i pressing enter. If i change that setting with + or minus, i can only choose IDE or RAID.

Thats my report. Sad
