It's possible with some laptops based on 943GML chipset. Try fo find 1GB SODIMM with 4 chips on each side and 2GB SODIMM with 8 chips on each side.
Install such 1GB SODIMM in first slot and 2GB - in second.

Okay. I have 2 modules of 2 GB (16 banks) and 4 modules of 1 GB (1 - 8 banks and 3 - 16 banks).Only 2 configurations work: 2 GB - 2 modules of 1 GB and 2 GB - 1 module in 1 slot. 3 GB do not work at all (2 GB 16 banks + 1 GB 16 banks = does not work; 2 GB 16 banks + 1 GB 8 banks = does not work). In general, it will do. Thanks for the help. The main problem is solved.
