Hi - I am glad to have found this site!!!

I am looking to unlock LED keyboard illumination in the Canadian model of my Toshiba Satellite A500-01V.

Its model part number is PSAR9C-01V002, and the current BIOS version is 2.00

In addition to all this, I am looking to see what other options may be unlocked...

EDIT: it's a phoenix UEFI, and it can only be downloaded in WIN .exe format.
in my phoenix UEFI folder, i have a BIOS.rom, but I am not sure if it's the one i am using right now... i tried opening it in phoenix bios editor that you guys have provided in this forum, but it won't work.

PHOENIX UEFI IS NOT A STANDARD PHOENIX BIOS AND ITS UNDER DEVELOPMENT .

I WILL UPLOAD A TEST FILE FOR YOU TO SEE IF ANY MENUS ARE UNLOCKED.

UEFI is under development and i can`t test the modified bioses on all the requests here as it might be bricked.................... no crisis disk is available for the UEFI and flashing the modified bios will be at your own risk .
