[UNLOCKED] Unlocking amd-v for Aspire AO725

ok here is what i did and i got it working now uuid /lan mac add
i used tool -LogoModifyTool- described in a thread some where and a code made b that awesome guy called simoni who is unfortunately didn't get his lan working by his code but it worked for me with some manipulation and some naive trials i will upload the zip file contains the folowing :
1- rom file was taken from my AO725 after i got it working uuid/lan but i missed up with my manifactor name / model while trin to put my email there..iam sure it wont be hard for u guys to fix it for any one who intend to use it later
2- the ori code of simoni + the tool to rem / insert the data into bios under free dos

I took the latest bios from the acer website. its a file called ZHG212.exe. My OS is Linux(ubuntu) so I had to use unetbootin and FreeDos to launch the .exe from a USB on startup, which I successfully did. It seems like the BIOS was updated but I don't think it used the .rom file in your zip and I'm not sure how to get the .exe to use that file. I say this because I still don't have the tab or option to enable AMD-V. Any ideas?

Rename Bios file as Recovery Name ZHGBIOS.fd
Then format an USB Stick in FAT32 mode and copy into that file . . .

Performing the emergency flash:

- Shutdown the netbook (notebook)
- Remove all peripheral devices
- Remove battery, Remove AC power cord
- Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds (battery and AC power still out), then release
- Put the USB Memory Stick in the USB port
- Hold "Fn" + "Esc" and plug the AC power cord in
- Now press the power button (whilst still holding Fn + Esc).
Wait until the fan will run, then release "Fn" + "Esc" keys
- The fan will run for about 2-10 minutes and the USB drive activity LED will blink
- I think the netbook rebooted automatically. If it doesn't, unplug the AC power cord once the fan has turned off

The bios should be updated with the modified BIOS, and boot as per normal.

Hi! I flashed my AO725 bios yesterday with an .fd file from this post and after the led stopped blinking, the laptop shutted down and so did the led lights. Now i'm not able to turn it back on again. Please, can you help me? I've read the whole thread but i've no idea what else to do.

Firstimer here, thanks all for the hardwork.

I have a ao725 which i plan to use as ssh gateway but i want to fiddle with some settings in the bios (power on schedule, fan temp points etc).

Rename Bios file as Recovery Name ZHGBIOS.fd

@BDMaster - can you reupload the bios please. Also can i flash it under dos without bricking since i don't have a keyboard (pretty much have the mobo ), there are couple of comments that people bricked it, what is the reason ?

Also has someone tried the trick to press fn + esc in the bios and reboot, that works on my v5-573G and i can see all the menus.
