- - For CPU 2630QM there are options:

with All physical core enable, fixed frequency is 2.6GHz
with 3 physical core enable, fixed frequency is 2.6GHz
with 2 physical core enable, fixed frequency is 2.8GHz
with 1 physical core enable, fixed frequency is 2.9GHz

I prefer All physical core enable fixed frequency is 2.6GHz with HT active OR 2 physical core enable fixed frequency is 2.8GHz with HT active.

I don't have an option to set a fixed frequency mine is a Intel Core i7 2670QM and it now runs very hot with your settings idle but I think this is cause I have not set the fixed frequency, I didn't see an option in the BIOS so maybe its a seperate program I run in the OS?'

Thank you!!!

Hello everybody!
I have an issue with my notebook Acer Aspire 5750G.

This is my hardware:
CPU: Intel Core i5-2450M 2.5 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.1 GHz
Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M, Up to 4095 MB TurboCache
RAM: 6Gb DDR3
HD: 750 GB
OS: Windows 7 & Lubuntu 16.04 (dual boot)

Now my problem:
Many months ago I have installed this unofficial BIOS. I had no problem during the operation and after. A month later (or so) I have installed a game and about 5 minutes later my Acer suddenly shut off. I tried with other games and the result was the same: my notebook shut down in a few minutes. Thinking it was an overheating problem, I have disassembled the pc, cleaned inside of it and changed thermal grease. It didn't work; problem still persist.
So I thought the problem was the new BIOS. I have gone to Acer site, downloaded the official BIOS and restored it. At the same time I downgraded from windows 10 to Windows 7 because I thought it could be also a driver issue (Acer official site gives driver only for Widows 7 and Windows 8). The problem still persist. Is it possible that this unofficial BIOS changed some settings and the official one I have restored has maintained these settings? What can I do? Are there any option I can modify to solve the problem?

I've try with an USB pen drive with DOS on, but in the archive (of this modded BIOS) there isn't any .bat or .exe for DOS System...

Any people have the DOS version of this modded BIOS?

Thanks everyone

Ok friend,
the Dos Bios version P5WE0121.bin is 0x20000 bytes shorter than Windows version
P5WE0x64.fd as there is an header (Capsule) in Windows version .fd, so removing this one You get the same file Dos version !
You can do by yourself or download Bios Mod 1.21 Dos version here :

Let me know
regards

Any chance you could please reupload this?
